Last Tuesday, November 24th, was the day our district technology instructor visited my five classes to help students submit their first assignments on the Google Drive. Many students had already practiced logging on and off, so they were well ahead of the rest. Thank you soooooo much for those of you who worked with your kiddos at home to do this. It helped me quite a bit. Those who had logging on issues had a chance to work with Mr. Martin to get their logins re-established. Those who were absent will hopefully be able to catch up with the help of a friend who really understands what we are doing. In the spring semester especially, I will assign work (not all work, just some work) on the drive. Students will be able to work and submit assignments on the Google drive. No printing, no emailing attachments! :)
Next week we begin some of the AISD benchmark tests. Tuesday is Writing and Thursday is Science. Aside from those tests, we will continue working on our revising and editing skills through some assignments I will post in the Google Classroom folders. Please check out the Upcoming Dates tab above to get a glimpse of dates to come.
